At −0.50, a wrong answer wipes out a quarter of a correct one. Guessing between two options you cannot separate is roughly break-even, so skipping a question you have no handle on usually costs you nothing.
How these mock tests were checked
The papers were first drafted with AI for our sister site, Global Drishti. AI-drafted questions go wrong in quiet ways: a key that points at the wrong option, two options that are both right, a "series" that fits no rule. So before any paper was published here, every question was solved by hand.

One more fix is invisible but matters: the drafts put the correct answer in option B far more often than chance, so a student who always ticked B would have scored well. The options in every question were reordered so each letter is right roughly a quarter of the time, as in the real exam.
How to use 5 mock tests before the exam
- Sit Mock Test 1 cold, in one 60-minute sitting, to see where you stand before changing anything.
- Spend longer on the review than on the test. For every wrong or skipped question, read the solution and note whether it was a knowledge gap, a slow method or a careless slip.
- Drill the weakest section on its own using the subject pages below, until the same kind of question stops costing you marks.
- Take the next paper and compare section by section. A rising score with fewer wrong answers is the target, not just more attempts.
