RRB Group D exam pattern and minimum marks
From CEN 09/2025 para 14.1. RRB calls the section split indicative, so the real paper can be off by a question or two in a section.

The floor is 40% for UR and EWS and 30% for OBC (non creamy layer), SC and ST. Above that floor it is a merit race. RRB calls candidates for the physical efficiency test at three times the community wise vacancies, which for 22,195 posts works out to roughly 66,585 candidates, by our arithmetic.

Per post and PET figures are our own arithmetic from RRB's two numbers. About one in 79 applicants reaches the PET list, so the CBT is the real filter. RRB does not publish applications by post, because Group D is a mixed selection.

Where the marks are in the Group D paper
Reasoning is the biggest single section at 30 marks, and science and maths add 50 more. The science is class 10 CBSE level: units and formulas, light, electricity, acids and bases, metals, the cell and human organs. Maths covers the usual arithmetic plus percentages, interest, time and work, speed, mensuration and simple statistics. With 90 minutes for 100 questions you get 54 seconds a question, and a blind guess gains nothing on average with the one third penalty, so answer only what you can narrow down to two options or fewer.

Is this RRB Group D mock test free?
Yes. The full paper opens online without signing up or paying, and every question shows the answer with a worked solution after you submit. An account is optional and only keeps your past scores.
How many questions are in the RRB Group D CBT?
100 questions in 90 minutes as per CEN 09/2025: 30 reasoning, 25 general science, 25 maths and 20 general awareness, one mark each, with one third of a mark cut for a wrong answer. Candidates allowed a scribe get 120 minutes.
What are the minimum qualifying marks?
40% for UR and EWS and 30% for OBC (non creamy layer), SC and ST, as per CEN 09/2025. PwBD candidates may get 2 marks of relaxation if there is a shortage. Clearing this floor only makes you eligible. The PET list is drawn on merit.
Is there a Hindi version of this mock?
Not yet. This first paper is in English. The real CBT can be taken in Hindi and other languages, so practise the same topics in the language you will choose.
Why does the science tab have 45 questions?
This site files questions in four subject groups, so the 25 general science and 20 general awareness questions sit in one tab. The real exam shows them as two sections with the same counts.
