DSSSB ASO Answer Key 2026: Draft Key from 23 October

The DSSSB ASO draft answer key opens on 23.10.2026, and objections close on 28.10.2026. DSSSB fixed these dates in a notice of 18.09.2026, before the exam even began. Tier 1 for post code 804/26 ran from 21.09.2026 to 18.10.2026 for about 3.44 lakh candidates. Checked on 18.10.2026.

Draft answer key and objection dates

Most boards announce the key after the last paper. DSSSB published a single table on 18 September covering sixteen post codes, and ASO is the first row of it.

ItemWhat the 18.09.2026 notice says
Post code804/26, Assistant Section Officer / Grade II (GNCTDSS), Services, DPCC and DUSIB
Objection window opens23.10.2026, five days after the last ASO shift
Objection window closes28.10.2026, so you have six days counting both ends
WhereA link on dsssb.delhi.gov.in, live only between those two dates, with a help file on filing objections

Not in the noticeAny fee per objection, and a date for the final key. Check both on the link itself when it opens

Work out your Tier 1 score

Tier 1 is 200 questions of 1 mark each, and every wrong answer costs 0.25. Once you have matched your responses against the draft key, enter the two counts below.

Score: 0 out of 200

A quick check on whether guessing paid off: four wrong answers cancel exactly one right answer. If more than four in five of your guesses in a section were wrong, skipping them would have scored higher.

While you wait for the key

Tier 1 only qualifies you. The merit is made in Tier 2, which is 300 marks: 200 objective and 100 descriptive. The same five subjects carry over, so the weeks before the result are the best time to keep practising. The DSSSB ASO free mock tests on this site are full 2019 DASS Grade II papers with worked answers, and the exam pattern page has the Tier 2 breakdown.

Frequently asked questions

When will the DSSSB ASO answer key 2026 come out?

DSSSB fixed it in advance. Its notice of 18 September 2026 opens the draft answer key and the objection window for post code 804/26 on 23 October 2026 and closes it on 28 October 2026. The link goes up on dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

How do I calculate my DSSSB ASO Tier 1 score?

Each Tier 1 question carries 1 mark and a wrong answer costs 0.25. Count your correct and wrong answers from the draft key, then score = correct minus a quarter of the wrong ones. Unattempted questions cost nothing. The calculator on this page does it for you.

How many candidates appeared for DSSSB ASO 2026?

DSSSB's order of 8 October 2026 puts the total at 3.44 lakh candidates. With 617 ASO vacancies that is about 557 candidates for every post, by our count.

Can I get my DSSSB ASO exam date changed?

No. About 70 candidates asked for a new date, and DSSSB rejected every request in its order of 8 October 2026, citing Advertisement 01/26 which says no change of date, time or centre will be accepted.

Is DSSSB ASO Tier 1 counted in the final merit?

No. Tier 1 is qualifying. The merit is decided by Tier 2, which carries 300 marks. A good Tier 1 score gets you to Tier 2, so the draft key is mainly a check on whether you are likely to clear the cut-off.
